the future of what? conning gullible boxing fans to pay ppv prices for it, whilst collectively harming the sport of boxing?
this is why i want dazn to succeed, because their subscription model with global expansion means one day if they have 10m global subs paying only $2 a month, they would get $240m a yr..along with monetising data and bringing in ad revenue and sponsors.
That would be enough to pay boxers good money, put on quality cards all year round and really build boxing globally. It's an untapped sport that should be pushed globally the right way.

Those ****** $100-$200m paydays need to die. The only exception is when there's an absolutely elite one off type of fight deal and a country like saudi wants to host it and will put up big money. It shouldnt be boxing fans paying that level of money for a single fight.
boxing fans need to stop being gullible.

Another way to look at it is that the champ has actually faced tough opposition in BKFC.

You don't get "Berlanga-style" bum streaks in bare knuckle fighting.

Did I miss something or is bare-knuckle still a playground for has-beens and no-hopers who can't hang in real boxing? Sooner or later the novelty value's going to wear off, or it'll be heavily regulated when one of the fighters gets badly hurt, and that'll be the end of that. If people are that keen on watching bloodsports they should just bring back bear-baiting or something like that.

It won't last, the injuries will destroy any type of stars and you need stars in your sport. Young fighters won't come here that have real talent. Only washed up fighters and maybe celebs can do it. Maybe if you inject some celebs it could be something.

Terrible investment. But very interesting....as you're going to have no dominant fighters - just a bunch of competitors with .500 records, short careers, and short lived lives.
