Harris is still rebuilding at 140 after that loss to Maussa.

A fight like this at Welter makes no sense for him.

Tune ups to get back into the picture at 140, not to move to 147 to fight a prospect.

Makes no sense any way you look at it.

Harris has his work cut our for him at 140, nevermind thinking of a move to Welter.
Yup, thats one of the fights that popped into my mind when I thought of this match up.

It makes sense because there is no one of star power at 140. You have what Urango, Hatton, Cotto (who is moving up to 147) and a few others I am aware of but cannot think now.

And Paul williams is a bonified C-O-N-T-E-N-D-E-R!!!!! Get real, a win over Mitchell propells his status plus the 2 fights on HBO.

Star power means money. And there's no money or title in him moving up to Welterweight to fight a huge hungry young welter.

              All risk, no reward.

Harris is looking for a title shot at 140, not to move up to 47.

harris can make 147, but it isnt a fight that he should be looking for or even take at this moment, or even at all. i think IF harris and williams fought, williams would out work and swarm harris. unless harris can hurt williams with a over hand right or a clean left hook, williams is going to outwork and easily beat harris.

harris can't hang with a fast pace and a high volume of punches................

it would be an interesting fight though.....
