While I'm not a Wilder fan and think alot of boxers could have had the same career as him with the business behind them.....he did suffer a pretty humiliating stoppage loss so a soft touch for his first fight back is ok, its not for a title or anything.

Martin was too big of a risk

Yes, I think so, last fight was an ego crushing stoppage loss, he has a new trainer, adjustments might be made. Martin is too high up in caliber and on the danger level given the circumstances.

Been out over a year. Took absolute pasting and his 1st Pro loss. I don't mind Dinu for his return.

I understand the ppl moaning though, Wilder does have a bit of a reputation for taking weak opposition and this fits right in with that theory.

So he was ready for a Fury rematch but not Charles Martin?

Deontay should fight Agit Kabayel, like Tyson was planning on. A Tom Schwarz, Otto Wallin, maybe Sefari's brother, whats his name? Nuri! Yeah, the Gypsy-Bum path to a world championship is the way to go.

You're a fan of a guy battered and stopped by a bum? Embarrassing
