There is zero chance Joshua loses to Ruiz...:there is zero chance Joshua loses to Ruiz......
Oh **** Joshua lost to Ruiz.
Any boxing fan with any boxing knowledge whatsoever never ever ever ever utters the words never with respect to a match up. I’d love if Plant actually pulled it off how many here posting nonsense would eat crow.
See, it’s easy to make predictions such as this because you only have to be right to “feel good.” You’ll never see these same posters hanging around because they got it wrong. They go back and cover their tracks.Comment

I love the idea of a judge in each side of the ring, and one watching in a studio. The problems with having just 3 sat together on 1 side are obvious; only 1 angle to view the action means much could be missed, plus there's the chance they could influence each other.Comment

the history on this mailbag is that if Bread says someone is competitive with the Holy boxing god Canelo, or had any opinion that is less than flowing praise, his weirdo fans go into attack mode. Bread gets called everything from a dummy to a racist for not bowing to the their cult like perception that Canelo is a gift to boxing.
I think some of these dudes would slit their wrists if Canelo ever lost again
" It´s called boxing, not punching "....the dumbest thing I´ve heard. Boxing is punching, not dancing or hitting like a grandma. This is the reason boxing is losing fans, writers and commentators have a hugh praise on " slick " fighters who are boring. Glad that the fans are tired of that and now we have more exciting fighters with so many Hispanic, Eastern European, Asian talent.
We're wayyy better off nowComment

I agree. Also, there is something very subtle that no one mentions regarding Canelo-Mayweather. Not only was Canelo weight-drained and used the gloves Floyd wanted but Canelo is a Mexican from Mexico which means he had no experience with the Afro-American slick style and that confused him. Not that Floyd hurt Canelo at any point though. But when Canelo gained more experience, Floyd never wanted a remtach. A Mexican-American who know the Afro style, would have KOed Floyd with no problems. Look at Maidana, who is from Argentina but trained by a Mexican-American (Robert Garcia ) who showed him how to fight Floyd, gave him a tough fight and won both fights in the eyed of the fans. Canelo is way tougher than Maidana.
While there are certainly trends and waves inspired by great fighters (i.e. Whitaker & Mayweather), boxers of any race can excel at any style... Wasn't the GOAT "slick" boxer a dimunitive Italian-American dude, Willie Pep? What about white Argentine Niccolini Locche? Weren't some of the GOAT "Mexican-style" brawlers like Armstrong and Saddler black Americans? Outside of guys like Ali and SRL, wasn't the "slick" style more commonly associated with Puerto Ricans and other Latinos until the late 80s and early 90s? Didn't January's FOTM just have a black "slickster" (Stephen Fulton) win an inside war with a Latino? Didn't Canelo use an "afro" style to great effect in the 1st GGG fight? Isn't one of the slickest boxers of our era the Ukrainian Usyk? What about Tyson Fury and pot-shotter extraordinaire Billy Joe Saunders? What about the Charlos, Tank Davis, and Shawn Porter... are they "slick Afro-American" boxers? I could go on and on...Last edited by shza; 02-07-2021, 09:27 AM.Comment
