" It´s called boxing, not punching "....the dumbest thing I´ve heard. Boxing is punching, not dancing or hitting like a grandma. This is the reason boxing is losing fans, writers and commentators have a hugh praise on " slick " fighters who are boring. Glad that the fans are tired of that and now we have more exciting fighters with so many Hispanic, Eastern European, Asian talent.

Canelo fans are the most sane in the bidness. Your devotion is choosing the color of the boxer. That’s not how you should view life! Now go shine my shoes shun!

Canelo is leaps and bounds better and in another level that he was in 2012. Don't use examples of something that's irrelevant at the present moment, he also is making the case that Plant would be competitive against Canelo because Plant beat Uzi, give me a break Bread . Plant will last against Canelo because of his movement, but that's all he's going to do, last, survive, go rounds because he won't engage against Canelo, but he's not going to beat Canelo.
The fact you had to decrease his age by two years to make a point just shot your credibility down the drain.

Funny how they keep overhyping Plant and don´t mention Benavidez who is the creme of the crop in the division.

To be fair, Benevides only has himself to blame.

Nobody forced him to be ill disciplined and give up his belt on the scales.

Canelo would have still ducked him of course but maybe he could have gotten the Charlo fight.

Without the belt as incentive, he is high risk low reward whereas at least he could have been high risk/relatively high reward.

Comparing Uzcategui vs Plant to Mayweather vs Canelo (@23 and drained) is rather purple syrup ****** poor.
I agree. Also, there is something very subtle that no one mentions regarding Canelo-Mayweather. Not only was Canelo weight-drained and used the gloves Floyd wanted but Canelo is a Mexican from Mexico which means he had no experience with the Afro-American slick style and that confused him. Not that Floyd hurt Canelo at any point though. But when Canelo gained more experience, Floyd never wanted a remtach. A Mexican-American who know the Afro style, would have KOed Floyd with no problems. Look at Maidana, who is from Argentina but trained by a Mexican-American (Robert Garcia ) who showed him how to fight Floyd, gave him a tough fight and won both fights in the eyed of the fans. Canelo is way tougher than Maidana.

He missed weight, so? Plant has refused to fight him before that. You think Mike Lee, Feigenbutz and Truax are better than Benavidez? He beats them three in one night. The incentive of the belt is an excuse for not fighting Benavidez. The fans and all the boxing world agree that Plant-Benavidez was a better fight than Plant-Truax. They made Truax his mandatpry so he wouldn´t lose.

Great writing by Breadman. The only disagreement I'd have is that you cannot compare guys like Povetkin to Ron Lyle.

Ron Lyle was a huge puncher and would kill these guys today. Only a slick heavyweight like Tyson Fury, of the guys still competing, would be able to beat Lyle.

Because we see the obvious and point it out you got a problem with us not bowing down to his opinion? Newsflash he’s been wrong in his biased opinion many times. Yes for the most part he’s very knowledgeable but he’s been quik to show favoritism to guys like ggg, Crawford and Loma over Canelo who has done way more. Bringing up the Floyd thing makes zero sense it’s just another excuse to buy time just in case Canelo loses it’ll be like “see I told you!” We know the drill
