Whenever someone says "shock the world" you know damn well that it's not going to go in their favor. Who has actually said those words and it actually came to fruition? It's the most cliché phrase and it damn near never works out.
The Kirkland fight was fun. Bombs away while it lasted.
Hopefully this one will be equally entertaining.
Have you said who your favorite fighter is? I'm curious to see what level of competition he is facing.
I don’t ********** myself and compromise what’s best for boxing by supporting individual boxers and saying...”he’s my fave” like many of you groupies do. So I just want to see the best fights get made and have little tolerance for trash fights.
Yildirim is better than Truax, Lee, Feigenbutz and all the uber drivers Plant has faced. He should have won vs Dirrell who is a better fighter than Plant by the way.

Understood. I feel the same. Especially with what the sport could be if it’d adopt this “philosophy”. This fight is a complete mismatch. Sport is absolutely broken. Fighters are all about the “business” of boxing and the ranking systems for ALL the sanctioning bodies are complete trash. And they actually expect for sensible fans of THE SPORT to jump on board with this. I don't think so!
nah, I used to root for guys in previous eras like Holyfield, Whitaker, Trinidad, Barrera, Morales, but once boxing became more geared on minimizing risk and diva like behavior, I’ve mainly just cared about wanting to see the best fights get made. I don’t have any current fighter that I’d say was my favorite.

But in previous mailbags you said Plant’s style, specifically YOU, was a stylistic nightmare for Canelo. At least you’re being honest that you don’t have a clue of today’s talent.
