I didn't expect him to become humble, I just didn't expect him to use most of his time in interviews explaining why he shouldn't fight anybody notable.

        i mean...cmon

the kambosas fight is typical of most fighters...big/tough fight...softer lighter touch next....the kid is 23 FFS....do you want him fighting murderers row right now? "im a boxing fan of course i do"...yeah me too...but it doesnt work like that..him fighting tank, haney and ryan isnt coming next off the heels of fighting loma and may take some time
That's fine, he is 23 and has time before facing the murderers row. However if that is guna be the case he needs to stop waving his world titles all over social media while smack talking about all the murderers row.

You guna hold the belts and talk chit about the top fighters you are going to get the attention of those fighters and fight fans. If he is 23 and not quite ready he shouldn't of took on Loma yet.

not a matter of being ready guy...and i think you know that if you stop and think about it

if he wants to wave his belts and talk hes no different than alot of guys who do the same...hes building his name and brand the way he chooses

as far as fighting the top guys/young names....do you really think its wise for all of these guys to fight each other right now? if youre being honest? yeah id love to see it asap....but its not realistic.....i have no doubt teo would fight any of em and is ready...heck if he was ready for loma hes ready for any of them

the business doesnt work like that neccessarily.....pitting 3 top names all of 22, 22 and 23 against each other so early isnt exactly smart business for any of the parties involved....even tank factored in at 26 too....theres time to grow these fights....and grow the money for the parties involved.....id be glad to be wrong and see these guys fight ASAP.....but how many of these guys have filled a 12k seat arena yet? has teo even headlined his own show on ESPN yet?

just not alot of sense in it right away...and its complicated when all of the parties are represented by different companies...2 of the 4 are on one platform but repped by different promoters...and the other 2 are on other platforms and repped by diff promoters....that doesnt make these fights easy to make...

Awwww, he's just a baby, leave Teo alone!!!

He's the champion of the division and is obligated to fight the best available competition.

I don't mind that fight for next but the signs are certainly not looking good for what comes after. I hope all the dismissive talk is just wrestling for splits and not actually thinking he is above fighting any of them. Time will tell but I can't be bothered with his BS either.

Teo is a big boy he hasn't got long at 135. I don't wana hear him claiming he smashes them, not doing it and then moving out of the division. Only Haney is very likely to follow him up to 140.

I just find it unacceptable to have a guy claiming to be the undisputed champion at 135 and then having no interest in defending that label against the best.

I know you look at this from a "business" point of view and I'm glad you do to be honest cuz it's a huge part of how this sport runs but there is a line to be drawn. I understand marination and smart practice but its too much for unified or undisputed champions to NOT do the 1 thing everybody expects of a champion. Prove it by beating the best.

Nope, I just thought he wouldn't be talking like he's too good to fight these guys.

well he beat the #1 or #2 p4p guy in the sport at 23 years old...he thinks hes the man....thats fine....its no different than spence thinking hes the a-side with crawford....doesnt mean he wont fight bud when haymon tells him to.....its just alot of talk and posturing....wouldnt put too much stock in it......again...you knew his next fight would be of this caliber and its highly unlikely hes fighting tank, haney or garcia this year so....

i think ryan is also very likely to follow him up also...so thats haney and ry if you take your opinions into account....and tank? well....we know weve heard the talk around here about how lazy he is and how he cant control his weight...so it might be logical to deduce at some point he wouldnt have much of a choice?

as far as teo moving out of the division? well i think we all knew that was coming...i mean....even before the loma fight everyone was saying he prob has 1 or 2 fights left at 135.......i think its fine if he moves up and takes his chances the other kids continue to build their brand and follow him up....its a gamble that hes likely to win that ry and haney, at least, follow him up
