The Ukrainian went through hell with GGg it was practical for Jermall to touch him up, but somehow fighters having taken damage while discrediting the winner from such a benefit has zero application when talking about Charlo and his opposition. For instance Lee sparking Korobov or GGG smashing Devry, but but “Kovalev got smashed by Eleider” so “Korobov getting clipped by Lee” doesn’t count cause cause “Canelo, see, he a white doe see!”
I hope Canelo fights both Charlo bros ASAP. See, if Canelo beats one the other will come begging too.Comment

Not true he won both those fights easily. Cmon, GGG got pieced up by Dervy, but Dervy couldn't land clean on Charlo. Korobov was dominating every round vs Andy lee until he got caught with the home run. It happens. Korobov was an elite amateur fighter. Kovalev got smashed by eleider but it wasn't a one time thing, he was always chinny and a *****, can't deal with adversity. Brutlally knocked out by ward, yards had him out of there. Even Pascal hurt him badly a few time.Comment

I’ve always not thought much of Charlos tbh. Jermell is the more skilled one doe. Some troops feel that Charlo shouldn’t get a Canelo payday. That’s simply because they don’t want ****** all American loud mounts freeloading off of Canelo’s success. I get that, but it is what it is, and to get the Charlos Canelo’s handlers must compensate them “fairly.” I don’t even care if he gets Jacobs or Kovalev purses. I just want to see Canelo stop Jermall Charlo or outshine him as he did to Jacobs. This way little Jermell comes knocking the door all Loud mouth and he too gets sparked. Then little Spence comes knocking and he gets it Amir Knanned style!Comment

Lol. I didn’t say Charlo didn’t win those fights. You’re even proving my point of LDBC esque limited comprehension. The LDBC like to discredit Canelo wins and make up excuses. So therefore responses like yours corroborate the Korobov or Devry win insecurities. “Oh Jermalls jab is soooo excellent, he beat Devry.” Whereas Canelo KO’d Kovalev. Whatever dumb responses to see, both Canelo and Charlo have official wins. Now if we want to talk about defensive mistakes like Jermall eating Korobov straight lefts all night then we can! He's levels above GGG though, the Dervy fight proved it. GGG would be eating Korobov's lefts all night.
I don't think cannel's not good, or even one of the best in boxing, but his wins all have some shadiness to them. Never just faces a guy in their prime, coming off of great performances, looking really hard to beat. You could fight a young hungry lion like charlo or Andrade who nobody has really come close to beating or fight Kovalev after getting brutalized by yards w only 2 months rest or Callum smith after he lost to bum John RyderComment

Yeah the whole “Canelo has asterisk wins” thinks is part of the Canelo-discrediting culture. Everyone knows it’s cliche.
The only thing that makes sense with realistic “closure” meaning (we can’t convince haters today), but in the future when our generation is old the new gen won’t know how to source all the gossip of today. Those videos on YouTube or message boards dramas will disappear. The new gen boxers and fans will only see the current 2mil view highlights of Canelo to by then 10mil+ videos. Boxers will be taking about Canelo as we do Duran now.
Canelo’s technique and predator calmness is what guys like Danny Garcia wish they could’ve been. Swift has always been a composed calm boxer with fair punch power selection, but he’s leagues below Canelo’s ability and breed. And yet Swift Garcia is a HOF.
So all the Canelo is what’s fun and people wonder why I poke it today. It’s so that haters can saturate the discussions in their head and live with it for however long possible. It will either be, in the future, “yeah, I used to watch Canelo... he had shady fights..” or “nah, I used to be a hater but Canelo would destroy x fighter today.”
I’m cool with all the scenarios because Canelo’ legacy lives on ON TOP of Haymon’s current stolen GBP generation! Therefore, why do Haymon only world fans even watch boxing?
Canelo’s early fights alone will always supersede an Indongo, Gamboa, or Horn win highlights as time goes on.
