Could have sworn the financial carrot outsiders were chasing in boxing was Mayweather? To clarify, the carrot that McGregor and Nasukawa went after was to earn Mayweather money by fighting the one time highest paid athlete in the world and beating one of the best boxers ever to do it. As a boxing fan one would think you would be rooting for our sport? Clearly there is a great deal of arrogance in believing boxing to be a lesser sport. This is demonstrated based on the arrogance of those thinking they can come into boxing and beat one of the best ever with one training camp and a decent boxing coach.

So why would Tenshin fight Floyd Mayweather in kickboxing or McGregor in the UFC? My guess is Mayweather respects the skill set of other sports enough not to hand him self over when there are so many big fights he can make.

You sound like a guy that just wants to see Floyd take a loss any way possible? Which man crush did he beat up or knock out? Tell me this, why would the biggest A side in PPV history allow your guy to set the terms of the fight? You probably understand that with lesser earners like Canelo, but have avoided the same power recognition with Floyd? What’s different?

Mayweather did fight McGregor. The Pacquaio/McGregor fight never transmuted from rumour into reality, did it?

How many exhibitions has Pacquaio ever fought, while we're on the subject?

In terms of trying to hold a belt hostage. There are rules to cover this. The rules worked and he was stripped. Moving along...

In terms of circus fights, this is how I'd rank it in terms of offensiveness, starting with low going to high:

        1. A boxer being rumoured to fight an MMA fighter
        2. A boxer actually fighting an MMA fighter
        3. A boxer signing up to fight a rapper
        4. A boxer signing up to fight a You Tuber
        5. Lamar Odom vs Aaron Carter

(and for the record, I think had Pacquaio fought McGregor it would have been pretty pathetic).

He is one of the most famous names in boxing, which is a sport that I care about. Simple, really.

He is retired from pro boxing he can do whatever he wants, Manny will follow the same footsteps because he can and nobody will care, these guys have earned it because of what they put into boxing when they were active, the most famous often cash in on their names when they retire I see no harm in it from any of them in retirement.

Personally I feel the hate is the reason guys like you complain, my protest is that I wont buy any of it.

                  Hate?

You complain to express discontent. It is not an act of hate.

Someone who isn't retired can do what they want also. However, as a public figure, you have to live with the consequences of your actions.

If you are performing in an event as a retired boxer and charging x bucks for people to watch, it is a natural consequence that if the event is an embarassing farce that observers will call the event an embarassing farce. They are not going to look the other way and say, oh well, he's retired, he can do whatever he wants.

I'll give an analogy to illustrate my point.

Let's say Stephen King says has he has retired from writing books. He then puts out a book that is just as expensive as the books he wrote when he wasn't retired.... Except every page is just shlt-smears wiped from his arsehole.

Is this a case of he can do what he wants because he has retired?

                      Give me a break.
