You know, odd as it may sound, when Earnie Shavers came to the ring in MSG to the theme song from "S.W.A.T." (I think that's what it was) to face Muhammad Ali, I got chills. I thought some action was gonna go down....'course, I was just 6; but I was right.

That music just added to the intensity Shavers showed that night.

Runner Up would be Tyson's ring entrance at the Spinks fight. There was this odd sound-effect playing that was ominous; and Tyson was hurrying to the ring. You could tell he was pissed at Spinks making him wait..and the "music", for lack of a better word, added to the feeling that a bomb was about to go off. Eerie.

I'm not sure about the best...
But for me, the worst ring entrance was Gatti in the Gatti/Mayweather fight... He was frightened by the fireworks lol.
I don't if you remembered that.

For the best, personnaly i like Hopkins in the Hopkins/Tarver fight. He was so focused and he really had the eye of the tiger...

Lewis-Rahman 2 was good - Lewis really had his back against the wall there and the choice of music was very apt.

Then again, Lewis came out to fight Frans Botha in London to some wierd **** that sounded like a go at the national anthem or some seaside music looped over and over again. What made it worse was that Lewis went the wrong way to get to the ring and the size of his entourage made him turning back the right way take even longer, so you had to keep listening to that ****** **** until his reggae music kicked in.

Tyson coming out to fight Williams had some cool rap music to it. Sounded mean and as if you could expect an ass beating.

Naseem Hamed coming out to fight Tom Johnson when he was lowered from above the crowd and the chick's voice was singing "Sugar Daddy." Or something like that.

I hate it when they just ring into the ring and start jumping up and down.

I liked how Roy Jones Jr. came out against Clinton Woods with that rap song. And Hopkins against tarver coming out with Bum B.
