pacquiao is going to beat the **** out of this poor kid. fights with his chin straight up in the air. speed usually troubles older fighters, but pacquiao's awkward rhythm and southpaw stance will negate that. left hands to that kid's face all night. right square in the middle of his face. he's an obnoxiously open target for straight punches behind a jab and foot speed. he won't walk out of the ring quite so handsome.

that sparring clip the other day garcia was getting his ass kicked, yeah it was a few years old but he has the same problems, his defense is pretty leaky, the other guy, romero i think it was, was just tagging him over and over. Davis beats him again if they fight, although i aint too big on davis as he hasnt proven himself with good opponents but garcia is so open to get hit.


you look at recent 130/135 to 147 moves:

mikey v spence - mikey fought to survive, covered up, was cautious, i dont think ryan knows how to fight like this

jmm v mayweather - jmm just got outboxed over 12, despite being highly skilled, ryan is even more leaky defensively, far less skilled and far less experienced and pac hits a lot harder.

pac v dlh - dlh was drained to a weight he didnt make in 10 years. Pac is still only 152 max in the ring, he isnt going to be drained at dlh levels even if the fight is 140 or more likely a catchweight above that.

While pac hasnt fought in 2 years and his timing is probably slipping, his hands are still going to be fast and his power will still be there, garcia is so leaky with his defense, pac can afford to be off his timing and still connect eventually, never mind his angles and southpaw stance that others mentioned.

If this fight seemed likely this would be a bet the farm fight on Manny at -140. Manny is old as fook + 2 divisions bigger than King Ry.

Granted if it is some sorta exhibition or less than 100% serious professional fight, less than 12 rounds or at some a weight Manny hasn't fought at at in a long time like below 147 I'd be less hyped for that bet.

Manny has voluntarily allowed himself to go into "champion in recess status" so this fight isn't even for a belt anymore. To me that it makes the fight even more worthless. It will sell well because Manny is still popular and Ryan has a large social media following.

Just goes to show you that just like Floyd with Berto, Manny is going to take a fight to make some cash and stay undefeated for the big fight that comes along.
