It is how good you THINK a boxer is for his weight class right now today based on very recent fights. It is opinion based not fact based and usually cannot be proven right or wrong. But how would anybody end up at the conclusion that Spence is number 1 p4p? Especially over the likes of Canelo or Inoue? How does fighting a guy dragged up 2 divisions like Mikey Garcia and then Danny Garcia who has never done anything of any note at 147 elevate him to number 1? Or elevate him at all? When those other names are going through and dominating division after division taking down champions along the way and doing it in better fashion than Spence is dealing with averageness?
