Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia Feels Best Version of Canelo Would Beat Best Version of Mayweather

Unbeaten WBC interim-lightweight champion Ryan Garcia is being mentored by Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, who is arguably the biggest name in the sport. They share the same head trainer in Eddy Reynoso. Canelo has a single defeat on his pro record, which came at the hands of Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2013.

The best Floyd was 130. Best Canelo is 160/68. So makes zero sense.

Because I’m sure he wouldn’t be biased right?

Ryan is still heated about Floyd Mayweather telling him to fight Rolly Romero if he want a Gervonta Davis PPV

Exactly, if not 130, then 135! Canelo is very good, but his skill set has never come close to Floyd! Loma, Crawford, and Boots Ennis are very close!

If life was fair that fight would be booked and end in a double knockout.

At what weight, best for best can never happen because of weight.
