Do I believe that Fury can win this fight? Of course -- as I've said before, I can see multiple credible paths to victory for Fury.
Do I believe that Fury punches harder than Joshua? No faarking way.
Someone here claimed Joshua has zero chance of winning. Anyone believing this is kidding themselves. There are paths to victory for Joshua too and they are not that unlikely. The most likely one is fairly simple -- a shot gets through that hurts Fury and Joshua finishes as we know he can.
It is ridiculous given past evidence (e.g. Wallin and Wilder laying serious blows on Fury) to say that such a scenario cannot happen.
There are some interesting question marks over the whole thing. First, will the bloody thing actually happen. Second, what condition will Fury be in after such a long layoff? Third, will Joshua continue on his orbit of improvement -- there have been valid criticisms laid at his feet about gassing, but in his last two fights I think there was plenty of evidence that his team has worked on this and that it has improved. His boxing skills have not stood still either, adding more to his game following the loss to Ruiz.Comment

No ,the blueprint is AJ gets gassed and panics after the goes down.It was clear against Wlad in the fifth ,hes muscles become a burden and he gets that look of oxygen debt, lactic acid cant hold your hands up that Bruno got.As I said to another poster, Fury goes down but recovers more like Holmes ,gets through it ,it doesnt seem to drain him the same way.I saw it against Wilder ,the fast twitch thing doesn't help in a fight with a guy who's more of a distance runner body type as the rounds go by.Thats really what beat Wilder ,skill yes ,but fatigue.AJ has the same look, of someone in conversation mode because he doesn't quite trust hes recovery ability.Ive seen that look on AJ in Whyte and Wlad ,and Ruiz of course, even against Povetkin and Takam,it bothers him.I dont think he outboxes Fury, might floor him but will gas before he finishes him,but most likely boxes with something in reserve like he did with Parker ,but gets picked off by Furys reach and quicker feet.
I thought AJ managed his tank quite well against Pulev, to be fair. Joshua threw much lower numbers versus Pulev than he did against Parker and Ruiz (in the rematch). So, he throws lower numbers, he gets the KO, higher numbers, he gets the UD. If Fury is going to be controlling it on the outside (assuming he throws the higher jab volume), that works for AJ, based on the numbers, surely?
If Fury pushes the pace and tries to come inside for a stoppage, that also works for AJ because he does have a great uppercut.
I think we are going to see a snoozefest. Fury is giving it the standard big mouth antics but he will stay on the outside at all costs. I think his gameplan to is nullify, not trade.Comment

Although AJ recovered and KO'd Klitschko.
