I think all of these guys coming in here saying the dumbest things about fury...like how he's one of the best ever....how he'll blast AJ out in 4...etc....I think all of these "people" know that they're simply trying to wish something into existence that has very little chance of actually happening. I think Fury actually does this too...its really quite amazing....its like a "fake it til you make it" mentality of some sorts. These people know at the end of the night they're likely gonna be pretty disappointed their ****** idiotic illogical predictions didn't pan out when every clue pointed to the exact opposite. Well...at least some of these lab specimens could moonlight as politicians with a skill set like that lol.Comment

Stylistically Fury should be the heavy favourite, but the closer this fight gets to being actual reality the more i'm getting the feeling that Fury either loses or it ends up being very competitive. I think Fury has been set up for a serious fall from grace with all the hype hes been getting the past few years. Theres a possibility that people (me included probably) have gotten a little carried away and overestimated how good he actually is.Comment

Where I think Fury excels is that Functional strength, he is extremely functional inside of the boxing ring. That is why he can win fights out of condition, because he has a natural strength that will always shine through etc 'His strength is not reliant on going the gym or doing anything specific, it is just always present'.Comment

The only thing that beat Fury here is overconfidence, he is the overwhelming favourite going in. So hopefully the pressure isn't too much, he has to stop Joshua and perform here. He has to Wilder Joshua.. I don't want to see a boring fight like the Wladimir one, am hoping to see a Wilder 2 type of performance.Comment

I think what Fury realized against a power puncher is that he is much more effective in the pocket because he still has good reflexes and quickness, fights well on the inside, and he knows how to smother punches. And like Wilder, Fury probably believes Joshua telegraphs his power shots. Joshua is more effective when he comes forward, not when a fighter is pressing the action against him or when he is backing up. Floyd could fight coming forward or backing up and Fury can also. Whoever imposes their will and presses the action will win this fight. Fury didn’t forget how Joshua looked when Ruiz was constantly applying pressure in the 1st fight and Joshua was on the defensive backing up. Even though Joshua boxed more in the 2nd Ruiz right, he still controlled the action. Fury will try to dictate the action from round 1.Comment

There was two parts to my post.
Tyson Fury has not had to build himself up in the gym, his strength is in part innate.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 02-01-2021, 09:25 AM.Comment

There is zero chance Joshua wins this fight.
1. If he runs all night like in Ruiz rematch, he loses by UD. Fury is much better boxer.
2. If it goes like the first Ruiz fight, he loses even worse. Fury is much better than Ruiz, lol.Comment

Tyson Fury also wanted a fight in December, but that didn't happen either, did it?
Did I miss something?
The Wilder arbitration case is still ongoing. Could last 6 months. And if Wilder wins, Fury has to fight him or pay a substantial penalty.
All because Fury doesn't want to do what he is contractually obligated to do.Comment
