AJ if he put the weights down and stopped lifting would go down to the 210s tbh

It's anecdotal but a few years ago I had a fight with a dude who used to be kind of scrawny but had pumped up bodybuilding for a couple of years, I'm naturally around 190 if I'm not overeating, he would be around 140 or 150 if he wasn't lifting but we probably weighed about the same at this stage

Anyway despite his big impressive muscles I was amazed at his lack of strength, I was able to out wrestle him pretty easily, I thought he was going to be crazy strong but he wasn't at all, he couldn't overpower me and I was an out of shape dude.

Don't underestimate the guy who is just naturally a lot bigger.
Tyson Fury in terms of athletic abilities? Is not the more impressive athlete than Anthony Joshua.

Joshua in ever single athletic discipline would most likely beat Tyson Fury. 100m sprint, Middle Distance Running, Long Jump, High Jump, Throwing events, Power lifting and Olympic Lifts etc I would even imagine Joshua being a good swimmer, I believe he also incorporates swimming into his training regime.

Where I think Fury excels is that Functional strength, he is extremely functional inside of the boxing ring. That is why he can win fights out of condition, because he has a natural strength that will always shine through etc 'His strength is not reliant on going the gym or doing anything specific, it is just always present'.

People saying Fury is physically stronger than Joshua are joking surely?

I believe Joshua will knock him out if he goes toe to toe.

          Fury beats his ass badly.

Usyk and Joyce are maybe better fights for Fury.

As for hits harder .. come on it's not debatable, AJ easily. Stronger .. come on Tyson admitted this before AJ is too much of a body builder.

Tyson may win this but it will be his speed and boxing brain/skills that do it.
Yep, to come back from that kind of darkness takes a helluva lot of mental strength. And when we consider he's naturally "unconventional" in the way he projects himself, then it's a formidable prospect if you want to get into the guys head.
Only Fury beats Fury at the mind games. I don't have a problem with people saying AJ is stronger or hits harder because that makes no difference if you're hitting fresh air and getting out-thought and out-moved.
If it wasn't for his boringass Guru talk, then I'd warm to AJ a whole lot more. Would always still root for him against an American, though.
I'm sure Fury would as well.

AJ will leverage on his super conditioning to try and escape like he did from Ruiz, BUT Fury is much taller (almost 20cm) and more mobile than Ruiz, with longer reach than AJ so I hope to see the rabbit cought and flattened before round 8.

A 250lb deadlift should be nothing to a 7ft giant pudding like fury
