I like Benevidas but he’s NOT POLISHED enough to beat Canelo. Not enough ring IQ. Has some bad habits that will get him hurt.
His biggest asset is he’s BIG. He has little bulk on himself. If he had normal bulk on him he’d be fighting 2 weight classes higher. He’s really not that good talent wise.
Canelo would easily take him out with a body shot.

Benavidez is damn good and he might beat Canelo but I think Bivol has a better chance to beat Canelo and Bivol has been asking to fight Canelo at 168 for years now because 168 is a weight he is very comfortable at. I don't agree that Benavidez is faster or hits harder than Canelo. Canelo has the edge on defense and close range fighting and experience. Canelo might be faster and more accurate with his combinations. He is a much better body puncher and probably the best body puncher in boxing. Canelo also has an iron jaw and he has fought better fighters. You may think Canelo is a cheater but I think you should still call him by his correct name as everyone deserves that much respect in my opinion.

Bolio, Canelo is fast strong, has better defense than Benavidez and will walk him down. Benavidez has the most potential of any of the opponents including Beterbiev. Beterbiev is a tank , but can be hit and i think Canelo would work him to the body and wear him down suoer late. Bivol, nah. Canelo is better, Charlo, not even close too basic, Andrade and Saunders too defensive, Plant not enough power. GGG too old now. Joe Smith C level with A plus power , but cant hit Canelo flush. So we are looking at Benavidez . Has great potential, yet he seems to be struggling to make the weight. This is because of bad habits. Fighters ;like this dont be A+ guys like Canelo.
