Hi,
So I watched the Williams / Mitchell fight three times and I am getting an odd feeling from the fight. I realize that Mitchell is 35, fought a ton in his career, and is very close to retirement, but he fell apart after the second round. He did not take anything hard enough from Williams to justify his performance. From William's point of view, Williams needed to fight a "bigger" name fighter and beat Mitchell before the 6th round (Mayweather's performance). If you watch the fight closely, there was subtle communication between the two prior to Mitchell being knocked down. Mitchell's reacts to hitting the canvas seemed forced, bad acting indeed. Mitchell hit Williams a few times in the second, but nothing was delivered with power. The grapling during the fight is a classic tactic to ensure it seems like they are fighting, but no one gets hurt.
