Truax was a fringe contender in his prime and now he is old and washed. I don't think he would've beaten Angulo if that fight had happened. Plant will take him out with ease

Rock gave him a lot of time to relax and think about things, there was no pace to the fight really. Someone comes out and sets a fast pace against him, I think that would present a challenge. Maybe I'll go back and check out some other fights too

I just don’t see how you can call someone a fringe contender when he was a world champ.

Paper champ is more accurate IMO.
