Just because McGregor lost, I see no reason why Pacquiao shouldn't fight him next.
First off, obviously, McGregor is a Mayweather leftover. 75% of Pacquiao's career is fighting people who Mayweather already defeated. McGregor falls under this category.
Secondly, McGregor is coming off a loss. This is a classic Pacquiao move. He's always fought boxers coming off a loss, or a bad performance. Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, Keith Thurman, Adrien Broner, and countless others come to mind. It's very rare for Pacquiao to fight someone that is in their prime or coming off a strong performance.
I'd hate to miss a legendary exhibition ( started by floyd doe ) just because of a small UFC loss.
