Tonight, three tigers were fighting in Cuernavaca, Mexico on Punching Grace. The event marked the comeback of Steven "**** ****" Butler (28-3-1, 24 KOs) after his setback in a WBA middleweight world title fight against Ryota Murata (16- 2-0, 13 KOs) in December 2019.

So noboby knows Quebec is the only french state of all america?
Don't you know about the like of Éric Lucas, Lucian Bute, Jean Pascal, Adonis Stevenson, David Lemieux and even Arturo Gatti?

All of those guys are francophone, because they all speak french and where grown here in Québec.

They pre-wrote most of this on the assumption Butler would win then had to add a line that actually Macias KO'd him!

Wow that's surprising. He was like a -2000 fav at least. Viewed this as another domestic level feeding but if that was the plan it went terribly wrong.

Kinda funny having a Mexican win the Francophone title also. No offense to you French fight fans but you know they give these guys soft opponents generally and obviously a Dutch and Mexican fighter aren't supposed to win the Francophone title so it's almost a 'gimme' belt participation type trophy.

They have to take a pretty loose definition of 'francophone'. These days hardly anyone speaks French. I don't think it is even in the top 10 most widely-spoken any more.

English, Chinese (mandarin), Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, German, Russian, Chinese (Cantonese), Bengali,

Nope, not in the top 10.
