Liakhovich vs Brock in Nov ?!

IMO, Wlad's team is intent on fighting Briggs in November for the sheer reason that Shannon, has a decent fan base in New York and his fans will come out to Madison Square Garden and pay to see him. Liakhovich, on the otherhand, is not likely a big fan draw in New York.

Having said all that, why doesn't Liakhovich target a fight with Brock? He's the number one ranked contender in the world and a win against him would certainly give alot of credability to his title.

Come on neils, who wants to see Liakhovich-Krasniqi? Liakhovich should seriously consider Brock and them target one of the other titlists next year or a rematch with Brewster.

All I can say is, Liakhovich better fight someone soon, he's been out of the ring for too long. A fight with Brock would be good but I would rather see him fight a unification fight.

I agree, at least if they fought we wouldn't have to hear about how Brock's gonna unify the belts for a while. If Liakovich is in the same condition he was in for the Brewster fight, it would be a brutal beating for Brock.

Why is everyone calling for a unification bout right now? Wlad's tied up with Briggs, Valuev with Barrett, and Maskaev is recovering from his last fight; point is, its not feasible at this time.

I think a Brock-Lykahovich is a great matchup and would result in an entertaining championship fight.

I agree, I think it would be an entertaining fight and I'd like to see it. I was just saying that if they fight, we can see where Brock really stands against a guy that can take a shot and can fight for 12 rounds. I personally think Brock won't live up to the hype, but we'll see lol
