Tank has to focus on his next opponent Abner Mares on PPV. He can’t underestimate Mares who is top fighter, if Mares can’t fight due to his eye than Tank should fight Francisco Vargas who will give him a good test

that all these Davis dic.kriders are talking sh.it about Garcia, when they all know Davis would take the opportunity to fight Pac if it was offered to him. I smell jealousy, envy and bit.chness. Yall are funny. Garcia/Pac sh.its all over Garcia/Davis AND Garcia gets paid way more than he does fighting Davis, which is what most of yall argue about any way (who's th a-side, who has more viewers, etc.)

This is pretty much the jist of their rants on the subject,clear as day. So as long as it's not an "exhibition" then who in their right mind would turn down the opportunity to retire a legend like Pac and propel yourself to stardom?!?! Its was pretty obvious from Ellerbes last interview on the subject that they didn't have any plans on making the Garcia fight next for Tank. His whole bullcrap spiel about "here at TMT promotions we dont discuss fights to the public" was telling. Been saying it for awhile,theyre most likely eyeing another undersized hispanic fighter for tank to look impressive against and who better than Abner Mares.

I beg to differ. Pac has proved all he needs to prove in his career. If he wants to pad his bank account at the age of 42 (or so), god bless him. He doesn't need belts, or more "names" on his resume, he needs more $$$ for his Philippines peeps.

Then he should retire like Floyd did and do exhibition fights ( I would not have a single problem with it), because he is holding the belt and division hostage.

Floyd's last fight on his pro record was against Conor MacGregor who had no previous boxing matches and therefore was NOT a 'legitimate challenge' .....as you rightly call it....

Floyd glamorous career ended with Berto. Connor wanted it to be legitimate, so Floyd got the fight sanctioned. Everyone knew it was an exhibition disguised as prize fight....it was a money grab. Also, Floyd had no belt prior.

It remains to be seen what the actual details of this fight between Pacquaio and Garcia will be, so I'm reserving judgement subject to knowing more, but I struggle to see how 42-year-old Manny taking on an actual boxer in Garcia who appears to have some actual talent at boxing is less credible than 40-year-old Mayweather taking on zero-pro-boxing-experience McGregor (let's remember that Mayweather includes that fight as his 50th pro fight).

As i mentioned before. Floyd career ended with Berto. Floyd had no belt going into the Connor fight. We knew it was an exhibition disguised as a prize fight. Floyd came out of retirement for the fight went right back into retirement after the fight. That was a money grab. We knew why Floyd as well as Connor wanted it sanctioned, and that was to hit the magic "50-0".

Manny Pacquaio is a legitimate champion in a legitimate division surrounded by no shortage of fighters. I have no problem with Pac retiring and do what Floyd is doing. But, to stay in the sports, hold a belt and do this, is unacceptable. By all means, join Floyd, Mike, Roy and those guys doing exhibitions. Don't hold a legitimate strap and do this.

Ryan knows business! This is a business decision! Tank, Haney, and Teofimo, are not going anywhere! Pacquiao is looking to cash out, and Ryan is the ticket! Bad part for Tank is if Pacquiao beats KingRy! Then no one wants to see the fight until Ryan gets a title at 135!

This Ryan/Manny possible fight highlights everything that is wrong with the mindset of posters who are fans of very popular fighters.

The guys that are ok with this fight have spent the better part of a decade complaining about ducking, mismatches, meaningless fights, guys not taking tough fights, and a whole host of other things that in their opinions hurt the sport. Yet once again when popular guys do these things, the same guys will find a way to be ok with it.

If the ryan/manny fight happens-Manny will be ducking Spence and Crawford, Ryan will be avoiding Haney and Tank, and we will have a meaningless fight that stalls 2 of the most prestigious divisions from moving forward.

Come on guys, if you have real issues with things you need to have the same issue when a guy you like does it. If not, just admit that every pro is out here trying to make as much as possible and fights for money over legacy.

Stop trying to make a couple of boxers virtuous and the rest bad. The guys you love are just as greedy and self centered as the guys you hate.

Not just Spence and Crawford, Manny will be ducking literally every WW who actually deserves a shot. It's okay though because most of them all look a certain way.
