Now do you think he’s going to make more than that to face a nobody in Yidilgrim? For Saunders, didn’t dazn ask canelo to take a 60% of his 35 mil contract just months ago? What’s 60% of 35 mil? It’s 21 mil. So no matter how you slice it, Canelo is not averaging if 25 mil guaranteed for these 3 fights. Deal with it.
Ok, I feel you buddy. Whatever you have to tell yourself. You want a fact, Canelo is the face of boxing, cash cow, best resume beside Pacquiao... facts feel me?

He’s definitely not getting more than that for Yidilgrim (have some common sense) and that’d likely be the max he’d get for Saunders. There’s a reason why dazn bailed on the 35 mil per fight deal with Canelo and wanted to pay him in the 20 range for a Saunders fight just this past May. So not likely they went over 25 when they wanted to pay less than that just months ago.

As far as this amazing goal of unifying at 168, don’t be fooled. He’s only saying that because he knows it’s the easier route. When he was a jmw champion, he never tried to unify all the belts. He actually disrespected the division by constantly fighting at 155. Then he could’ve unified all the belts with Andrade at 160 last sept when dazn approved it, but he decided not to fight at all. Not to mention he dropped 3 titles at mw instead of facing mandatories. Then he gets the low hanging fruit belt at 175 and immediately drops it because he wanted no parts of the other champions there. At 168, he first gets a fake wba title, now 2 years later he gets a real one but only petitioned for the wbc belt AFTER Benavidez lost it on the scales. He’s never made a real effort at unifying any weight class and unifying at 168 only became the goal once it became the easiest option to take.
If getting low hanging fruit at 175 and unifying at 168 is so easy why hasn't Charlo done it? Or why haven't Golovkin or Andrade done it? Not smart enough to think of the idea first I guess.

Canelo deserves to be the boss just for that alone. He is playing chess and these other guys are playing checkers.

if you follow boxing, you’d know that the more popular fighters (with weird little groupie followers like canelo) have a greater opportunity to make fights that they want. So all this chess stuff is nonsense. It’s all based on popularity. That’s why canelo can just decide that he doesn’t want to face ggg again even though he’s never been able to get a clear win over him. It’s why he chose to drop his wbc belt and have a franchise belt created for him instead of facing charlo for it. And Kovalev and smith were both low hanging fruit. Just like Liam smith was and just like Rocky fielding was. Lastly, what does your reply have to do with canelo turning down offers to fight charlo and plant ? Stop deflecting.

golovkin was popular enough to land big names like ward or kova, he just never dared...
charlo would have also landed fights with champs at 168 like plant or benavidez, but also never dared, now as far as andrade goes, that guy is just hard to sell so hard to argue there..

ggg should’ve fought Ward. Sorry but fighting Kovalev or smith isn’t daring to be great. It’s being an opportunist.

Man i heard on these same boards canelo ducking cotto, trout, lara, jacobs, ggg, and to hear Andrade on this list is laughable. Alvarez fought some of these fighters to prove people wrong but they wasn't worth no money. Andrade or Charlo won't bring that bread. But at least charlo entertaining. Andrade boring as ****. Maybe more than Lara. Who the **** Andrade beat anyway?

Unfortunately it's true. Canelo had plenty of opportunity to fight both of those guys when he was a JM and then when he was at Middle. That has nothing to do with being a fan of another fighter. It was his decision to not fight those guys.
