Comments Thread For: Chandler: Askren Not The Most Talented Striker, But May Upset Jake Paul

The UFC's hot contender Michael Chandler, believes Jake Paul made the right move in selecting Ben Askren as his next boxing opponent - but also cautions that nobody should rule Akren out. Paul is 2-0 with 2 knockouts as boxer.

Idk why jake would be considered the favourite really, the other guy is a professional fighter, OK not in boxing but Jake has 2 rounds of experience, the other guy has been a pro fighter for years.

At the very least askren should be better at pacing himself and he won't need to be prime Ali to beat jake paul.

    Could go either way.

Would it really be an upset if he beat a YouTube guy?

Askren is getting knocked the **** out..

He cannot throw hands and looks disabled when he does, pure wrestler. This will boost Jake Paul even more, he'll get a bigger name and maybe an actual pro after this.

I mean technically Jake went some rounds with KSI's brother and was even getting tagged up himself and bloodied. Who would've thought the video gamer would give him a harder fight with headgear than the pro NBA player but that's just how it is sometimes.

I think once Paul steps in there with a true professional boxer he is going to get his ass kicked but he should handle Askren quite easily he's coming off a hip surgery and got choked out and knocked unconscious in 5 seconds in his last 2 fights should've been 3 Robbie Lawler was putting a beating on him until he got the early tap called. He is an incredibly gifted wrestler and this honestly should've been an MMA fight since Paul is a former wrestler as well of course not Askren level but it would be a more even playing field.

A quick youtube of Askrin fighting and/or training will help you rule him out.
