As some of u mite know from Xcaret's signature or mite even know him personally, Richard Baltazar passed away in a car accident on August 9th. He was only 19 and this is definately a tragedy in the boxing community. While training at the broadway boxing gym in LA i've seen a lot of boxer's, professional champions, and amateurs champions but none as gifted, or talented as Richard was. I remember when i first met him i was hitting a heavy bag and thought i heard someone hitting a speed bad and turned around to see that he was hitting a heavy bag to, he was that fast, and i immediately stopped and watched in awe. I've never seen anybody as fast and fluent with his combinations as him ever in my life and after talking to him and even studying him it was apparent to me and everyone else in that gym that he was the next big thing in the featherweight division once he turned professional. Id definately say he was the most talented fighter I've ever seen, met in my life and guarntee anyone that he would have been a superstar, p4p type of fighter if had gotten his much deserved chance to shine. Not only that but he was real cool, u think as talented as he was hed have to be somewhat arrogant, ****y, but he was a Humble individual who knew what was ahead of him. I just want everyone to be aware of this devastating loss of Richard Baltazar who would have been a P4P Champion without a doubt. R.I.P Richard Baltazar, you will be missed but not forgotten.
