Dude, it took me the longest to figure out how exactly Texas does things as their numbers never tie and then I realized they tax on seats not sold. Not at the full rate, but seats not sold get taxed at 75% of the ticket price. It's pretty nuts.

And yes, doesn't seem like Texas changed that practice for the pandemic.
