I believe the fight happens anyway, but Eddie is the master of saying he sent a contract without actually telling people what clauses are in it, which can be a way of not making a fight with the public image you’re trying to make it. I think Fury is too big of a fighter for that though, Hearn will know it has to down the middle.
For me the real hurdle is going to be broadcasting. Fury has an exclusive ESPN deal. I don’t even see how they can work with DAZN as DAZN doesn’t do standalone PPV. I know AJ is not exclusive to DAZN but Eddie has a stake in DAZN which not many people know about. So is he just going to let his cash cow fight elsewhere? Cant see it.
In the UK they’re also on rival networks but they should be able to work together because their format is basically identical and there should be enough money to satisfy all. But there’s no certainty of that still.
