As someone who was on the receiving end of that I can attest that to be true. Growing up I would hear go back to Mexico and when I would visit Mexico I would hear Go back home Gringo.

What top black fighters are there for him? They all chose to stay in lower weight classes and avoid each other.

Someone needs to ask him if he considers David Benavidez a "Mexican" or not so we can all finally put to rest will he won't he David. I think everyone wants to see this matchup and if we get our answer sooner rather than later it would be good. Also is Canelo saying that he would potentially go back down to 160 for Munguia?

And you complain about Canelo resume? Its arguably better than Manny. . .
Warped Rankings to you, but what are your standards? Jumping around in weight to avoid dangerous fighters? Weight draining fighters? Fighting for meaningless belts or going after guys who are past their prime? Or how about blowing up 20 lbs after the weigh in or taking drugs? If thats your standards, Canelo is one the best boxers of all time. Mikey Garcia and Marquez always showed balls, no ****. They'll fight anyone. Canelo fights anicient slow as molasses Angulo, an old blown up Shane Mosley, a smaller old battle worn version of Miguel Cotto, washed up James Kirkland, a small glass jaw Amir Khan, basic Liam Smith, fought GGG after blatantly ducking him for years. Waited until he THOUGHT he slowed down. Ran the entire 1st fight and lost. 2nd fight was aggressive and still lost in my opinion got his eye busted open leaking in the last round got outboxed and handled, garbage Rocky Fielding for a title?! Seriously?, a slow footed stuck in the mud Chavez Jr, passive frightened Callum Smith, an alcoholic shot Kovalev, now he's fighting Yildirim who is a leather heavy bag with arms. Best resume in boxing? Best mexican of all time? Not even close. And when u go deeper into his record u see a lot of small guys coming up and weight drained guys and u can say he lost to Lara. So how is he the best?

Can you imagine what all the la Raza and Britain first/Yaxley-Lennin/EDL bigots would say???

Ramirez is at 175 and has no plans on going back to 168 so how would that fight happen? David is not Mexican. He was born in the US and his mother is Ecuadorean. Until someone asks Canelo if he would fight Benavidez anything anyone says is just puff talk.

And at the same time Mexican-Americans have a totally different mindset where they are themselves as the same as Mexicans. The grass is always greener I suppose. I clocked the silliness early on when I moved to the USA when seeing how my fellow non Spanish speaking Soldiers and police officers were ridiculed when they didn’t speak Spanish by people from Mexico...

                    Shut up idiot.,

You have Gayweather who never fought any blacks

Stank and Haney who don't mention each other, but would rather tug on each other's co.cks

Andrade and Charlo who won't fight each other but cry about not getting that Canelo payday

and then Spence and Crawford who would arguably be the biggest fight of the year, but are doing everything possible to avoid themselves in order to land that Pac payday.

The only militant incels I've been seeing are posters of your ilk.

I seen a old interview where he said this before and he said it was because he doesnt want to be responsible for derailing another Mexicans career but the part I think he fails to realize is,,, that he can be giivng his people a $15million dollar payday where they might never get that otherwise and he solely holds that power to make his own people rich. IMO he could have faced Gilberto Ramirez, David Benavidez, Jaime Munguia, sure maybe he beats them all but he would have also made them all Rich. To put that into Persepective that is maybe $45 Million dollars that could have went into his own people hands instead he made everyone else rich.
I see what you are saying and agree to a point. I think Canelo does not want to keep the stereotype going that Mexican's are jealous of each others success. Instead of putting countrymen against each other he wants to help lift them up. The rivalry between past Mexican greats was good to see on tv but the aftermath was probably worse. Mexican's as it is already hate on each other if one is more successful than another. I think Canelo wants to unify his people and not divide them.

If David fought Canelo and earned 10+ million I doubt he would spend it on anything to do with helping Mexican communities. He is US born from one Mexican parent. Who is to say he would not want to help is mother's side first?
