Good points from both. I don't really care where the dominant fighter comes from, as long as he does. If he's Russia or Pakistan, I really would just rather come along and lay all these mediocre heavyweights out.
My point is that America is the center of boxing's popularity, and if an American heavyweight were to be successful and capture the imagination of the public, it would boost the game at large no end.
