  • Why Pac vs Floyd has nothing in common with Bud v Spence

I am among the few on this site that been a big Spence fan from day 1 sorta speak,I knew from early on he would be the best ww of his era,& since then he has already demonstrated it.

The reason Bud V Spence has nothing in common with Pac v Floyd is because unlike Pac v Floyd where both guys were ppv stars who kept fighting the best/names throughout their careers,Spence is the only 1 that has been holding up his side of the rivalry. Bud for many yrs has feasted off no hopers & looks like he wants to continue doing so.

So the question becomes why do we fans continue to fall for TopRanks bs? Why do fans act like the hype is justified,or as if this fight is this generations megafight when in reality its that very same hype that allows Bud & Top Rank to continue lining up every no hoper from here to Timbuktu to fight Bud. (At least Pac faced good comp when using Floyds name to sell)

If we fans actually started thinking with our heads we'd stop rewarding cherrypicking frauds like Crawford & his Top Rank handlers for dragging boxing along for yrs & yrs without the slightest plan to fight Spence.

If Bud didn't love being called p4p #1 while fighting the clownshow hes been,he wouldn't have re-signed & he wouldn't re-sign again next time which we know he will. Bud is NOT an ATG & likely never will be,at this point its safe to say hes shown to be amongst this gens biggest hypejobs whom even 40+ yr o pacs resume stays shtting on. Crawford's resume is such garbage,Ryan Garcia would be ashooing for top 5 win if Bud beat him.

Ps Floyd v Pac ******,& this would suck worse, Because it's like fcking Pam Anderson after Tommy Lee gave her hepatitis, its no longer a good time after expiration date & if you had to work for it for several yrs too.

Bring on the outrage,I encourage debate

It’s nowhere near not even close in the slightest like PAC May.

And PAC can arguably still whoop both Bud and Spence right now.

I'd go as far as even saying this fight isn't even Canelo vs Ggg Because even ggg faced Jacobs before hand.

Would love to see the fight.

It’s in my belief that the winner of the fight would propel their career to the pinnacle of what each has capability to be. But both seem scared to take that L because then that means one of them loses stock tremendously.
But in all honesty if it’s a close fight, they could do a rematch and both break bread.

They’re both playing chicken but neither of them accelerated yet, they’re just sitting there revving their engines.

Neithe that’s star power so they can’t even be compared to GGG and Canelo, whom both were already quite proven his the time they fought.

              No commonalities.

Spence vs Crawford will never happen. They afraid of each other.

The thing is its ******ly bad business for fights like this to marinate more than 1 year, let alone til each is mid 30s & have losses. Imagine if Pac v Floyd happened before Pacs ko loss to JMM. Both fighters could've made hundreds of millions from several rematches & Pacs record wouldn't have losses to schoolteachers like Jeep Horn, Bradley & JMM. As great as his resume is,he has those wack losses that might've been W's against Floyd or even Losses to Floyd, either way both guys would make way more money overall & they'd actually have better resumes with all the wins with few losses in Pacs case esp.

Until you realise that the Jacobs that GGG fought was less accomplished than Ndongo, Gamboa, and Postol.

Jacobs had never even won a world title before and his claim to fame was KO of Quilin. He also had a previous KO loss.

GGG was far less proven than Crawford when he faced Canelo.

Crawford's best wins were against unknown fighters to all but die hard boxing fans. And Indongo shouldn't be his proudest accomplishment at age 33 if he thinks hes an ATG.Enough said.
