Jerson Ravelo off of ESPN card

Jerson Ravelo has just dropped out of the ESPN card he was supposed to headline Friday night. Ravelo didn't reveal a reason. More to come, or hopefully I dunno. I'm high

Man, you are getting around AS. It's cool that you are keeping busy out there as boxing is really a sport that you can make an impact in. Your writing style is solid and you are in NYC (right) which is a great scene to have on your doorstep.

        Best of luck, man.

Ravelo is a ****ing physical specimen. He could be a decent contender down the line with his punching power. I just watched him destroy Donnell Wiggins a couple of months ago...nice shot that was.

I know what you mean, man. It's a tight scene as far as the money goes but if you deliver consistently, your name will get big. Don't burn yourself out but make sure people know who you are. Good luck, man.

Hell yeah, I put in work and jump on every advantage I can. I was on a radio show in Cleveland Sat and will probably be on again this Sat. I'm looking to start my own radio show soon, hopefully I can get something there. Its a rough world out there, and it gets alot easier when money comes through.

Yeah, man. Myself and Sergio Martinez would love to be able to do "The Scene" audio show more, but you got to make your money while you're young, man.

Werd, but the good thing is that its not a job really, its fun. Not just the events, but the writing as well. I get all weird feeling when I don't have an article out there on page 1, so I stay working all the time. Its a challenge, I try to step up my game every article. Boxing is the love of my life, then comes my girlfriend and the shorty on the side.

Next time you do The Scene, send me a pm.
