Yes, this fight is likely next.

I mean Fulton looks to be a hell of a talent but he's not unbeatable.

It may be more competitive than people think.

Fulton has shown great inside and outside offensive skills and Conlan doesn't overly impress me. Fulton by clear victory.

Fulton's not unbeatable sure, but Conlan's not looked that special to me so far and I'll be surprised if the bookies have it closer than about 3:1.

Could be recency bias on my part, but I don't think so. Be a lot easier to pick Mick if he'd fought anyone worth a damn.

I hope you're right though, I was kinda rooting for Mick pretty hard when he first turned pro but the kids nearly 30 now this'll be the first thing that looks anything like a step up. And he'll be coming down in weight too... think maybe he should have fought someone a bit lower down the rankings first here in the UK... Doheny, McDonnell, Ward someone like that. Even that would be a step up.

Maybe I’m bias but reading the comments I can’t believe how many people don’t rate Conlon!?

Maybe I’ve been caught in the hype or focusing too much on his ability as an Amateur?

I'll go with Fulton although I wouldn't be surprised if Conlan won. Conlan just hasn't impressed at all as a pro but Fulton is pretty average and will be stopped as soon as he faces a good fighter who can punch a bit.

Fulton will be the rightful favorite and seems to have more dimensions in his game but Conlan is a big 122 pounder that has some solid boxing skills. It's not like Conlan takes major shots and has a terrible defense or anything. He struggles to put his shots together at times and has some amateur habits still but I doubt he gets completely washed this fight. Will likely lose a decision, a wide one at that but he will have some moments.

I mean it makes sense as Conlan has failed to impress since turning pro. Don't get me wrong, he's probably better than some are making him out to be in this thread, but definitely hasn't shown his class yet. Maybe it is due to the hype he got after the Olympics and then not delivering since turning pro.
