George Benton that guy who sang the "just give me the night" song? Didn't know he could fight to great singer.

GGG has been the best middleweight and the champion so many years while Benton was never a champion although he was a good fighter. I will pick the champ by KO. He is a record breaker and a certain hall of fame fighter on the first ballot. Many on here never heard of Benton while everyone knows what GGG has done including 22 KO wins in a row and 21 successful world middleweight title defenses and still champion at age 38.

Carter had 40 pro fights and lost 12 of them so he lost almost 1 of every 3 pro fights he had. Beating Carter was no big deal. Eleven other boxers beat Carter as well.

I respect your opinion on most everything you post until it comes to ggg. I agree he'd beat Benton but I don't see anyway he's a first ballot hofer and what records did ggg break?
