I never understand the hate some boxing fans have for MMA. It makes no sense at all. I love boxing, always have, always will. Loved it way before MMA became a huge thing. But, it's just another combat sport. The guys putting themselves on the line the same way boxers do. Skill set is different sure. But it's entertaining. And when it comes to UFC at least those dudes are forced to fight each other. Big Fights get made on a consistent basis.
I get the argument this is a boxing forum and the article maybe shouldn't have a place.
But to say you can't be a real boxing fan and like MMA, that's dumb as hell. That's like saying if you like Football you can't like Basketball. Only one sport you can be entertained by!!!!

It took me a LONG, LONG time to watch 1 MMA/UFC fight but I watched Khabib’s last fight before he retired, Bones Jones last fight, and McGregor last night. I’m pretty sure there are quite a few other good fighters out there that I am missing. But I’m still a deep hard core boxing fan for 40 years. And I only watch the replays of MMA/UFC fights.

to be fair, mma changes champs quite regular, its hard to stay on top, u have to face all comers no excuses, no belt hostages and other sides of streets crap, no aging potential opponents, u fight the best guys or u don't have the belt anymore, it works well too if u like the sport that is
