Hatton-Corrales-castillo triangle, this is what reallllly bugs me...

#1) make any fight out of the above three fighters (hatton-corrales-castillo), and u have a high possibility for not just a FOTY shoe in, but a FOTC possibility.

#2) Its really starting to bug me that castillo-corrales 3 was called off. I wanted corrales-hatton badly, and hatton said he would fight the winner of that fight. there was a good shot that corrales could have won that fight, and my dream fight would be taking place in december or even october, instead of this hatton-urango crap.

#3) this is what i really wanted to happen

    Castillo--Corrales

this could have been as good, if not better, then the hearns-leonard-duran triangle, or the
ali-frazier-foreman triangle. NONE of those fights would have been as one-sided as HEARNS-DURAN, or FOREMAN-FRAZIER, and all of them would have been as good, if not better or slightly worse, then hearns-leonard 1 and frazier-ali 1 and 3.

that is not an outrageous statement. Castillo-Corrales 1 is arguabley better then any of the above mentioned fights. whats the say the others couldnt match, or even top, that fight?

Castillo-corrales1 has already produced one of the greatest fights of all time. Now hatton is fighting castillo sometime next year which will also be an amazing fight. If hatton could have fought corrales, i am sure that this could have been the greatest triangle in boxing history. Unfortunetly, they both seem to be going in different directions.

Hatton will stay at 140 until after the castillo fight, but if he wins that fight decisivly, ill bet he gets a shot at MAYWEATHER at 147. And with corrales staying at 135, fighting casamayor first and then maybe a pacman or freitas fight, i doubt they will fight ever!

All im saying, is that castillo pretty much ****ed up one of the best things boxing had going for it IN MY opinion. Im starting to gain my respect back for castillo, he is a great fighter and incredibly under-rated, but the effects of him not making weight for castillo-corrales 3, expand faaaar from just that one fight being called off.

Castillo ****ed up and your boy Hatton ****ed up. You said that you wanted to see Hatton-Chico so bad but why couldnt you? Just because Castillo-Chico didnt happened? NO!

That fight didnt happened because Hatton was all talk and didnt want it to happened. The whole time Hatton said he would fight the winner but he assumed Castillo would win and he wanted no parts of Chico. What differnce doesnt make if that fight didnt come off? Chico wouldve definatly took that Hatton fight and you know it.

If Chico had came in overweight and Castillo had made weight but the fight had been called off then I bet you anything that Hatton wouldve tried to make the Castillo fight. He had no excuse for not fighting Chico.

The bottom line is that Hatton thinks Castillo is easy because he fights exactly like Hatton except Hatton is bigger, stronger, faster, and has been at the weight his whole career. Meanwhile Chico is a totally different type of fighter that presents different problems and I think they feared that he could give Hatton alot of trouble.

Castillo ****ed it up but Hatton still couldve made the Chico fight easily. How in the hell does Castillo **** it up and Hatton ends up with Castillo? He wanted that fight and not the other fight

          What DLT said.

In a way the fight being called off was a blessing in disguise,or it could have been, because you had these two exciting fighters be freed up without having to take all the punishment from a third fight, meaning they would have been 100% to make good with a hatton matchup or whoever.Especially with castillo being in limbo there was no reason Hatton-corrales couldnt have been made if Hatton really wanted it,but it seems like he really just wanted castillo.

well the castillo fight is gonna happen if hatton beats urango. idk if it will be an easier fight then corrales, but it may be the smarter one.

and if the castillo-corrales fight DID happen, and corrales won, i think hatton would have defiently stuck to his word and fought the winnier, corrales. And with Casamayor begging for a rematch after the fight was called, and castillo get suspended, u knew hatton didnt have a shot at taking those fights.

You think Chico wanted the Casamayor fight? You kind of get the feeling that he thinks Casamayor is beneath him at this point. He only took that fight because he had nothing else. He wouldve jumped at a Hatton fight and I bet he wouldnt have even complained if it was overseas

i think he did want the casamayor fight because he thinks it'll be an easy fight.

It was a great move by ESPN to get corrales in studio for the casamayor fight, because without that arguement i doubt the fight would have happened.

corrales now thinks he has to prove something.

anyway, i was wondering if anybody else thought that the hatton-castillo-corrales triangle would be as amazingly great as some of the other great triangles out there. i seriously think it could be one of the best.

Stop avoiding the obvious. Hatton wanted no piece of Chico.

there is nothing special about Hatton... for me he is just a rabbit puncher... nothing amazed me...
Basically. He's just a fighter who puts on a ton of pressure.
