What's with Miranda developing a fan base with only one good knockout win on ESPN? I don't mind him fighting for a title or whatever, but it's not like he's anything at this point.

Pantera hasn't fought anybody except a Howard Eastman that had lost two in a row. I've never heard of this guy so I guess we'll have to see what he brings to the table when he fights people that aren't 0-3-0 all the time.

It wasnt the victory that impressed me with Miranda against Eastman it was the fashion in which the victory came.

No other fighter has gone and attacked Eastman before...Miranda beat Eastman in a way that neither Joppy or Hopkins could...he backed Howard in a corner and basically threw his chips "all in"

Edison at the very least in this fight fans eyes has earned the tab "must see tv"

I agree!!! I've never saw Eastman even stunned before his fight with Miranda & that impressed me more than anything. Miranda put him on the defensive from the opening bell.

You don't become a boxing superstar overnight. It takes a few big wins. This was obviously the start of it. Maybe after a KO of Abraham you will think he is something too.

Taylor beat Hopkins twice and deserved to beat Wright. And you're not impressed? But you're impressed with a guy who KO's Eastman and nothing else, right?

And I'm not hating on Miranda at all. I'm asking why he has fans based on one fight. You can't claim to have been a fan before the Eastman fight because nobody had ever heard of Miranda before that. I have seen (live) every Miranda fight since he has been in the USA (5 of them) so I am very familiar as so who Miranda is.
