Excellent point. As someone else point out earlier : Lomachenko would be a signature win for these young guys who make clear they don’t want to fight.

I said this same thing last week. Lomachenko should chase a Haney fight if Teo doesn’t give him a rematch, but would Haney give him a chance now? IMHO they both need each other, unless Haney was able to land the Ryan, Teo or tank.

I think the young man was referring to Teofimo Lopez as the bigger fish. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing, just trying to help. See a lot of arguments break out in this place over nothing. Total different place to how it was 10-15 years ago.

Wouldn’t Davis, Lopez, Garcia be the bigger fish for Haney? Bigger purse and slighter better feather in the cap. Beating Loma right after Lopez will not give Haney the boost he needs as there are questions about Lomas shoulder and talk of his decline.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see the fight, but understand why Loma wouldn’t be Haneys first or even second option.

From what I’m hearing he is equidistant from landing any of the four opponents. They are all available right now. Garcia is in DAZN so maybe that fight is the most realistic.
