Broner vs Ryan Garcia @ 140

Ryan Garcia says he wants to fight Pacquiao, but could he even beat the guy that Pacquiao sent into a 2 year plus retirement?

Broner has been training and is looking for an opponent for the end of February, if his first fight is pushed back and he goes up against Ryan Garcia at 140, who would win?

It would be a dumb move on Garcia's part.

There's a strong foundation for a legacy to be built and superstardom to be built at 135 by fighting Davis, Haney, and Lopez. Maybe even Lomachenko.

But if he moved up to 140 to fight Broner. He could very well win. I don't see why not. Broner's past, he is indisciplined and easily grows content in matches. He'd lose to Garcia if he set cruise control and allowed Garcia to win rounds on activity.

Broner could also beat Garcia fairly easy as well. If he went in there to actually win. Not just make a check but to carve his name into boxing history. He has more than enough skill to beat a green Garcia, who only looks for the left hook.

Garcia and Broner can give each other publicity, the both know how to promote a fight. It's a risk for both.

This would be a dumb fight for Garcia. As much as Broner is annoying as f***k, he can punch still and has a chin. Unless you are Marco Maidana, he doesn't go down easy.

Too much of high risk/low reward for Garcia. Broner is accustomed to fighting and getting hit by bigger, better fighters and he has nothing to lose here.

Broner would eat whatever Ryan throws at him. Other way around? Not so much. Broner by KO

I'm not confident in Broner beating any high level name guy & Ryan proved he was high level/top ten with the Luke W. Broner just don't got it mentally or confidence-wise anymore I tend to believe. That said idk that it'd be a easy W for Ryan between Broner being the best guy he'd have fought + moving up 5lbs. So cuz of those big hills for Ryan to climb I feel like I'm not picking a winner more than I'm picking the guy more likely to lose.
