Canelo-Yildirim is a sh**ty fight but at least it’s effectively only a tune up for BJS in May.

People say Canelo has improved since Lara, and he has, but he’s never actually fought a slick southpaw since that fight. I think that’s a bad style for him and there’s no evidence to suggest he is any more comfortable with that kind of style now.

Stylistically I’d say it’s Canelo’s toughest fight in years. The footwork of BJS is going to give him more to think about than he’s needed to in a while.

Canelo is rightly favourite. I’ve always felt this could be a fight where the decision could go either way. As good as Canelo is, he does drop a fair few rounds in fights, he’s not utterly dominant in his tougher fights. Add that together with the style of BJS and I really believe it’s a real fight.
I’m the other way tbh man. I think Canelo will stop him comfortably. Saunders isn’t a really a mover like Lara, he’s more about angles and pivots. I just think Canelo will walk him down and eventually walk through him tbh.

168 may be the weakest division in boxing. All 2nd and 3rd rate fighters. 160 has top fighters Golovkin Andrade 175 has Beterbiev Bivol. It is clear as day Clenelo has picked a soft division to camp out and unify.

Miami has had a bunch of P4P fighters fight down here.

Roy Jones infamous rooster punch KO was at the heat arena.

Trinidad fought Thaim before his mega fight with Fernando Vargas at the heat arena.

Mayweather fought bruseles at the heat arena at well.

Canelo fought pizon at the miccossukke Indian resort at the age of 18. Hes not the same kid we saw 12 years ago haha.

I saw all these fights live but Unfortunately this was almost 20 years ago so definitely it’s been some time since the best have fought in miami. I’m also thinking about going the Canelo fight if tickets are cheap

No hoper Yildirim then pillow fisted ret-ard Saunders. I think Eubank would actually put up a better fight at this point than Saunders. The only fight at 168 that has any heat is Benavidez and he can not even make weight and Clenelo has an excuse avoid him because he has no belt.

Pick and choose for Canelo...fcuker won't fight the top american black or white fighers, and much less the top mexican fighters...fcuker!

Canelo is on fire at the minute and will again look like a monster against Yaldirim but BJS will be more trouble than some think. I'll stick my neck out and say BJ will take Canelo to points, maybe even close points. If Canelo stops BJS I will be more than impressed.

A lot of people think the same tbf. I can understand why. If Saunders is able to control the distance and tempo it’s a tough fight for Canelo.

I’m pretty confident Canelo stops BJS though. I just can’t see Saunders being able to establish distance, I think Canelo will get inside and pummel him tbh.

I see it slightly different but I wouldn't bet against you. I struggle to see anyone around the weight to actually beat him at this time just the odd fighter like BJS who I say just might last the distance and make things a little interesting.
Mind you I thought Jacobs would cause more problems!

I think its BJS because of how he has looked in his last couple fights. His party hard and eat like no tomorrow in between fight dates has aged him as a fighter. If GGG had a piece of the 168 crown I think he could get the 3rd Canelo fight but right now I see it as Yildrim in February. BJS in May and Plant in September for a full unification fight. Now whether we will see Plant vs Benavidez or not I dont know. Whether we see Canelo and Benavidez or not I don't know. I wish all of them would have a go at each other but it's hard to say.
