I don’t see that at all contrary to Floyds and elderbes BS Tank is not a household name he’s known among boxing fans but that’s it, he doesn’t have much of a personality and like mentioned has yet to prove himself.

Now I do agree Loma isn’t exactly a huge star and Teo might be on his way but not there yet but they are more known/popular with fans not just the die hards like Tank.

Don’t let the pbc BS fool you they think if they say something enough times that it will come true ala “Tank is a such a Star” lol he’s not and they know it because if Tank is really the “star” they want people to believe he is than boxing is in a horribly sad state.

Very few stars in boxing right now only Canelo and AJ imo and Ryan is right behind them on the right path and a fight against the former p4p king and or the new king of the block Lopez would bring in more fans than Tanks smaller limited fan base.

For example a lot of ufc fans are Loma fans and now Lopez fans/haters(that’s what I see in the mma forums)so thats just part of a group those fights would bring in.

You are clearly biased. I will give you Canelo as he's fought on PPV prior to DAZN but you can't factually say the same for AJ or Ryan since neither has fought on PPV in the US. AJ is a bigger star outside America without a doubt but inside we don't know. I would say Fury is a bigger name here.

For his first PPV Tank did over 200k PPV sales during a pandemic.

It may not be his fault. It could instead be a network issue. Both he and Davis want the fight. But they could be obligated to fight on their respective networks. CBS/Showtime prob won’t let Davis go to DAZN without payment from the fight, or won’t let him go at all. DAZN likely won’t let Garcia fight on Showtime.

I think this has been the issue fans have been talking about why the fight prob won’t happen.

I agree, but you can spin "bigger" in many ways doe so who knows. I think you could even spin Linares into bigger since Linares gots a much longer history at the elite level than Tank gots.

Whatever happens next for Ryan I feel like this was all a ploy by Ryan & Ryan actually had zero intention of fighting Tank next.

I posted last time the three fight plan Garcia has for himself and he included Pacquiao while most laughed it off. But it makes a lot of sense and Garcia is a big boy that will eventually fill in to WW. That's probably a risk GBP takes at this point. If Pacquiao can get the McGregor fight, then of course he should take it. But that is far from a guarantee.

I don't think you can spin Linares fight being bigger than Tank and don't think you can do the same with Lomachenko. The Lomachenko fight doesn't make much sense for Garcia right now. People will just say that he beat the guy Lopez already beat the fight prior and there is a solid chance he can lose that fight....For far less money than he will make should he fight Tank.
