Comments Thread For: Reynoso: Berchelt Can End a Fight With One Punch - But So Can Valdez!

Eddy Reynoso, the veteran trainer of undefeated Oscar Valdez, is very confident that his student will overcome the dangerous challenge of WBC super featherweight world champion, Miguel Berchelt. The two boxers were scheduled to collide in December, with the contest being pushed back after Berchelt tested positive for COVID-19.

I'd probably shit my pants if Valdez somehow won. He won't.

I like Valdez but Reynoso is only saying this cause he’s his trainer. After seeing Valdez get knocked down by Lopez and look average against Sanchez, I’m not so sure that’ll likely be the case for Valdez ending the fight with Berchelt but I respect Valdez for doing this fight not just for himself but for the fans

I think even Reynoso believes Valdez is ****ed BUT if Reynoso can develop a game plan to upset the odds it will be impressive.

This fight reminds me of the days when Hagler and Duran would take on EVERYONE. Even themselves. Twice! Both went 15 rounds!!
I know it goes against todays boxers protocol. Where risk is a negative to career goals.
Which makes this fight rare, gutsy and to both Valdez and Berchelt highly commendable!

Valdez has never ended a fight with one punch. Berchalt got this easy.

I’m not sure about that bro I think he has but Berchelt definitly ends them in more brutal style.

Reynoso is a great coach. Valdez is definitely the underdog.
