Sergey Lipinets is #3. in the IBF 147 rankings, so this is progress indeed. Then, I would like Jaron to go for the big-dog on the list, #1. Kudratillo Abdukakhorov ; in a final eliminator for Errol Spence jr., PLEASE!

I guess you can call this a small step up given that Lipnet is more experienced but he is significantly smaller. Easy fight for Ennis.

Expect to see Lipnet suffer his first KO loss.

Lipinets style is more or less tailor made for ennis. He is going to get picked apart trying to close the distance and when he stands squared up in front of ennis.
Dont rate Lipinets all that much at welterweight. He benefited from size and strength at 140, but his style isnt effective anymore at welterweight.

Reasonable at this point in his career especially since the last fight ended the way it did.

I've seen some interesting dimensions to Ennis like creative footwork and angles on his punches that leads me to believe that he has the type of arsenal and skills that could blend him right in with the elite. He just has to stay off the ropes, even though he can fight inside. I think his dimensions would net him an impressive win Lipinets. From there, he can be knocking on the door to the best at 147.

About time he steps up against a journeyman at the least, at almost 30 damn fights.

                    Agreed.

Boots and Ortiz are quality at welter.

I can’t wait to see them in with a champ but this is a nice step up for
boots. If he looks good, look out welterweights!
