Wow Stevenson let’s boxing assessments affect his psyche this much? His response is indicative of a boxer with a weak mind. If you have to take to social media to go on that type of rant instead of leaving it at a single comment then you’ve already been mentally compromised.

I hate it when people start attacking other people personally because they had an opinion they didn't like. Weak attitude by Stevenson.

As far as what McGirt said, I think anybody with the right mind would favor Teofimo to win because of the size and the fact that he's been in there against top fighters and did great so we know what he'smade of and what he's capable of. Stevenson on the other hands hasn't been in there with top fighters yet so his capability at the top level is still unknown, but I wouldn't write him off because of that, I would reserve my judgement until I see him in there with the best fighters in the world and then I can make a statement.

Hidden somewhere in here is the fact that Lopez is wayyyy too big for Stevenson. Let’s start there and keep it real...

McGirt is a past good fighter and

As a trainer I can’t say because I never have been in the gym with him. I do think Stevenson has been it soft but he’s done what he was supposed to with the opponents so we will see if he’s cut out for this later. I go way back into Buddy career when he got beat by the short but wide Frankie Warren but came back and beat him. I do think some trainers who were good fighters get to much credit for simply motivating an already good fighter, and Buddy is no exception. I believe if Shakur fights Lopez it will be much later and at Jr. Welterweight.

Buddy McGirt is a good dude, great trainer and was a great fighter. Seeing some of these younger cats disrespect him just makes them look like immature fools. He’s only giving his opinion, a highly qualified opinion might I add.

Stevenson should focus on shutting him up by proving him wrong , not whining on Twitter. For what it’s worth, I don’t agree with mcgirts opinion.

Well teo is moving up to 140 soon so the fight is a long way away. Shakur is skilled, he beat everybody who's in front of him and we will know how good he is when he fights a fellow world champion

I knew when there was a dry spell in boxing for a few weeks these kind of stories, articles would come out. It is what always happens. Now is it true (?)sure I would agree, but I love boxing so much that I would just say this might help Stevenson out by motivating him to develp more in the ring, take chances, I think bc Buddy LOVES Stevenson so much that is all he is trying to do. Yea thats the ticket. I do not know how or why he got to talking Shakur and dont care. Maybe Stevie turns into a good fighter who gets it done. We all get to watch and find out. What I think of him dont matter to him, to anyone else I know that. But Buddy has a a voice in boxing so he uses it for whatever reason. Maybe he wanted to get his attention ? Let him know he LOVES him so much he wants to work with him. Yea thats the tik....................
