When was Manny's prime and Floyd's prime respectively?

Which years/fights do you consider to be Pacquiao's prime?

Which years/fights do you consider Mayweather's prime?

IMO Manny's prime was 2008-2010. Alex Ariza took him to new heights, but after that brutal Margarito fight he was never the same.

Floyd's prime lasted until 2013. He's looked like sht ever since the Canelo fight.

Physical prime or peak as a fighter?

I believe Floyd’s peak as a fighter came in 2013 when he was flawlessly schooling Guerrero and Canelo. (both P4P ranked at the time I believe) His reflexes had only declined marginally whilst his Ring IQ was far better than it was 10-15 years ago.

Pacquiao’s peak probably came around 2009 when he was blitzing Oscar, Hatton and most impressively Cotto. You almost had to suspend your disbelief watching Pacquiao around that period as he was dominating men possessing significant physical advantages. People can be revisionist now but virtually nobody expected him to do what he did to De La Hoya and Cotto.

Two exceptional fighters, we were lucky to have them within the same era.

correct but i think floyd lost his peak faster since he become less of a puncher and more of evading. his body might not able to withstood punches that's why he choose to be defensive.

Yes Alvarez was Mayweather's last great performance.

I knew his performance levels, had dropped significantly come the Maidana rematch 'I believe he even alluded to this himself'.

Mayweather actually fought better against Maidana in their first fight 'He looked empty, flat and less durable in the rematch;.

Mayweather beat Pacquiao, but again? He looked so flat and empty inside 'Mayweather at his peak stops Pacquiao'.

Note: The Oscar De La Hoya who fought Mayweather also stops Pacquiao.

if you are talking about their prime. pac will beat them both.. too much combination and power. oscar has the slight chance between him and floyd to beat pac on decision.

Mayweather was way gone by the time he fought Pacquiao 'He was flat and weakened, but he still beat Pacquiao with just the basics'.

Mayweather physically was a stronger fighter than Pacquiao, and more durable 'Pacquiao had the edge in power, but in all honesty? That is all.
