These freak matches are the coming thing in sports entertainment.

Fans are forgetting all about the boxers that make you wait years to watch them fight who they should be fighting. Instead, fans will ship their money to these freak matches.

I think these novelty fights could have the positive impact of forcing legit high level boxers into taking the more compelling fights fans are wanting. I mean last year the highest revenue fight was likely two 50 year olds in a novelty fight. That's a bad look for real boxers.
