Actually looking at an article just now it seems like they haven't done any work together. It does sound like Steven has seen Hafthor spar & move around in the gym, but thats about it.

It does sound like they were trying to do some sparring, but the sparring turned into this exhibition it appears.

Weight matters, but idk about it mattering THAT much in the boxing ring vs a guy who for sure won't be a good fighter in his first fight vs a guy with a good winning dozen fight plus pro record even if his record is manufactured overall.

I'll take the boxer with a manufactured pro record over the guy who's not a boxer without a record, pro or amateur, every day of the week.

I'd take the guy who's spent 2yrs training boxing & has about a dozen fights at that stage.

I agree size matters, but skills & experience matter too. It's like you are suggesting if you take a 7ft guy outta some native tribe & throw him a basketball he's suddenly beating experienced & skilled guys on day 1 in 1 on 1 games.

I didn't say it ain't a different animal. Fighting a 180lb guy who's never fought is different than fighting a 235lb guy that's never fought. But just like size matters, knowing how to box matters too & I'd argue it matters more often times.

Like I said idk who tf this guy is so maybe he fought as a kid or something or he's been training for 2x as much & he just hasn't turn pro yet. But barring any news like that I'll take the guy who trains & has fought over the guy who looks like a superhero but knows fook all about fighting.
