Over confident dancer in Usyk is hurrying too much for a money fight. He want to transform proffessional heavyweight to an amateur style boxing. Nothing you expect from him fighting AJ but a hit and run dancing...

No top fighter should embarrass themselves fighting for these meaningless garbage belts. Wait for the winner of the big fight and get some more heavyweight experience in the process. Fury or Joshua will be a whole different proposition than Chisora was.

He said if they sign to fight ,A.J would vacate the belt after the undisputed and then that fight could be for the WBO belt which would make sense if Usyk is confident he would win and doesn’t want to wait for the 2 fights that Fury and A.J are going to have which does make sense if you have sense .Ha
          It makes sense for Usyk.
As a belt holder (if he beats Joyce) he'll prob get his 'money fight' anyway.

Usyk will do fine against Joyce...
Bellew was dead at the weight, and should of stayed at heavyweight 'I would of picked Bellew to beat Uysk at heavyweight'.

I don't highly rate Usyk, but? I have to commend his efforts in wanting to become the Heavyweight Champion of the world.

I don't see Usyk facing Joyce, as I think Uysk wants to fight ether Fury or Joshua for a title 'Uysk has come into the heavyweight division, because he wants to be involved in a big event'.

Usyk should step aside but only if it's stipulated that he gets the winner of the second Joshua vs. Fury fight. Who's to say Joshua or Fury will ever fight Usyk if he decides to step aside. He'll likely want a few million to step aside as well.

A mandatory says it . Whoever holds the WBO owes him that fight ,in this case Usyk has to hope A.J gets all the belts because Fury does not owe him a fight . But Usyk isn’t getting the A.J fight anyway until Furys out of the way so he has to roll the dice and secure a belt by other means which is agreeing to side step . If A.J vacates the belt because of Usyk he could easily not fight him and leave him out of a huge payday which I would do if that’s the game he plays .

                  Alternative

Usyk should fight Wilder for the WBO if AJ vacates it

                    LOL, but you aren't wrong.

As a boxer you should NEVER fully trust a promoter, even your own promoter. Hell I think most of the time your promoter is either trying to boost other guys on your name or overly protect you to keep your value.

And generally boxers wanna find out how good they are more then their goal is to maximize every penny they can in the sport. You can do a lil more risk with only slightly less upside & fook lotsa times you fighting riskier fights seems to increase your value either in the short term or the long term as long as you don't have a too bad looking L or too many in a row. So it basically all equals out anyway & if you have bigger fights sooner its probably healthier for you & gets you outta the getting hit in the head business sooner.

Agree. Thats the superior move to fighting Joyce for a interim belt. I ain't mad at Usyk vs Joyce, but if Usyk can parlay his status into a fight vs the AJ vs Fury winner while getting money for NOT fighting thats the mfing move & most mfers would steer that way themselves if they were in that position.

Its at risk of the WBO belt being dropped by AJ, but knowing how much AJ wants all the belts it seems a solid bet that Usyk should hold firm on the move in the quoted post ******** on AJ not being willing to drop it to avoid throwing Usyk some $ + a eventual title shot.

I mean fook if he agrees to fight Joyce now its not even for The WBO Belt. If he pushes for the bigger fight he either gets that bigger fight or he gets the Joyce fight FOR The WBO Belt. Its a freeroll situation for a bigger fight.
