This is a game that’s getting right out of reality surely, with under 20 fights in the bag and one “name” in it, I can’t help but look at this fellah (among others with similar numbers) and think, slow down a bit son! It’s only been 5 minutes or just 4 years since goin pro and it’s gotta take more than these numbers to become top boy.
Even lomachenko is the same. Yes, a brilliant amateur we’ve heard it all but in the pro game and having only 16 or 18 fights and talking the way they do is really like they’ve had 40/50 fights!
Ok, look at it another way...have another 20 or more fights and I believe you will have earned the right but problem is....gotta keep winning Or atleast if you lose then, pick yourself up and prove your up there!
    Until then, nah.
That includes many others, not just this fellah.
Andre ward was another, very good yes but dropped out waaay too soon and was largely unproven and why? There others to beat or fight to establish himself as the best (like most on here have said in the past) but again, unproven in the long term, took the money and ran which is what most of these youngsters will end up doin after 10/15 fights.

More boxingscene logic. “GGG is a poosee for not moving up.”
“Lopez is moving up? What a scared poossee”.

He isn't fighting Haney, Davis nor Garcia.

A fight as close as that deserve a rematch.
Two things can be true. It was close in the end and it was ALSO clear. He beat him, I controversially and wants to move on. And for one love that idea. Give the fans fresh matchups not rematch after rematch. Loma can build himself back up and get a rematch later. We’ve seen these two face off. Let’s now see them face off against fresh faces.

One thing is clear. The poster known as Lomadeaux has put up more of a fight since the beginning of this thread than Vasily did at the beginning of his fight. Both still lost and bitter about it though.

Completely agree. Tank isn’t fully fledged 135 yet and may never be which is precisely why the big framed Garcia is targeting him first before tank has properly grown into the division.

As far as Lopez goes again, agree with earlier comments. I was and still am a huge Loma fan but again he’s just too small to compete with the best at 136. Lopez beat him unanimously, clearly, fairly. If he doesn’t want to fight him again that’s fair enough. It’s his legacy. If anyone is at fault it’s Loma for being arrogant enough not to include a rematch clause. Now he’s got to live with that. All the talk of it being a robbery or Lopez being scared of a rematch is just pathetic, childish rubbish from keyboard warrior trolls who don’t have a clue.

Lightweight King? Without a doubt. Undisputed champion? Not until he beats Haney.

Lopez and the WBC can jog on with their non-transferable, honorary, special-permission-required Frenchfries title.
                Non-transferable?

Explain how Lopez won that title

He beat Loma for it, Loma wasn’t stripped. This is why the franchise championship is becoming recognised like the Super WBA title as clearly it’s a championship and not an honorary title

He won the title because both teams petitioned the WBC for a special exception to allow the title to be up for grabs. Without that exception, Loma would still be the Frenchfries champion.

"Non-transferable, honorary title" is Sulaimoney's own description of it when he slipped it to Canelo with a wink and a nudge.
