I remmeber David Haye saying he would retire at 30 to avoid getting brain damage. And he did....then came back...and got hit a lot in the head.

Joshau won't retire until he starts to decline. His recent performances have been perfect. All his rivals are just trying to get him to be reckless and get knocked out.

Yeah, absolutely. We saw the death of young, indestructible AJ against Ruiz. The epitome of Joshua was the Ruiz knockdown. Gets his man down and then rushes in for the kill, because its always worked.

The loss has done him the world of good, IMO. Not just because I'm a fan but you can clearly see that he's progressing since that, for lack of a better word; humilation. He's not on Fury's level in terms of boxing ability and IQ but he has the power that Fury never has had and is unlikely to get.

I like Whyte's personality but he is getting worse. He hasn't really got anything to lose now. He's got 2 losses. He isn't in any top 3 conversations. He's grinding his way through his career now and I don't think we will see him in another world title bout. He'll become a top 10, maybe 5, gatekeeper.

Well yea no sh^t he's probably not as motivated as he once was.

If I got $70 in my bank account I'm gonna be more willing to push it & take more risks than if I got $70,000,000 or whatever AJ gots in his bank account. Thats kinda how life works regardless if you are a pro boxer, CEO of a aspiring fortune 500 company or working at Walmart.

That said an unmotivated AJ is still better than most of the cats out there super mfing motivated & broke. There are still levels to this sh^t however motivated you are or aren't. Motivation is just one variable.

In his last 2 fights Joshua has regained his world titles and dealt with his mandatory and now he is working hard to set up the undisputed fight with Tyson Fury.

Question his abilities if you wish but his ambition and drive is undeniable.

He got his belts off a clinically obese midget who didn't train for the fight, and then fought a way past it 40 year old journeymen, who was average at best 10 years ago during his peak
